Standard Printing began in the 1930’s in Spencer, Iowa, and has been operated as a family-owned business since 1968. Design services were added in 1987, changing the name to Standard Printing and Design, Inc. In 1998, a design studio branch office opened in Ames, Iowa. Recently this office expanded into it’s current location above the Campus Bookstore, across from Lake Laverne in Campustown, Ames. Today, operating in a state-of-the-art production facility, owners Scott DeGeest, Craig Gabhart and Greg Rasch share a company with 34 full-time employees that continues to focus on high-quality offset printing.
