Mission: Our mission is to educate, bring awareness and connect communities with resources needed to be sustainable. Vision: Our vision is to transform the culture of awareness and opportunities in rural communities by educating them on social justice and real change.Stanly Avengers, Inc. Stanly Avengers are heroes and leaders interested in the growth of Stanly County and surrounding areas in North Carolina. We all believe in giving back and mutually supporting each other and the diverse projects we work on that help move our culture and community forward. Stanly Avengers started due to the lack of influential leadership seen today compared to the role models we saw growing up. A question was posted on social media asking “Where and Who are the leaders for the new generation from our community?” This caused a chain reaction of highly thought of leaders. The most repeated answer to the posted question was “Lead by example”. The other leader’s name who came up was invited to a privately formed social media group now known as Stanly Avengers, Inc. Some of the intangible products and services we had in common included leadership, activism and being a voice of the people. Stanly Avengers are heroes and leaders disguised as teachers, entrepreneurs, councilmen, other non-profit organizations, event planners and regular 9 to 5 employees who come together for a common cause to Be S.U.P.E.R. or Support, Uplift, Promote, Educate and Repeat. We look to find the solutions for generational curses like recidivism, financial illiteracy, lack of generational wealth, career and life choices, academic setbacks in future technology, gentrification, mental health and lost identity and pride in our history and communities. Stanly Avengers are the voice and movement of the people who either can't, won’t or don't know how to take advantage of resources and opportunities either due to lack of information, limited accessibility or even discrimination.
