Stanstead College

Founded in 1872, Stanstead College is an independent Canadian boarding and day school for boys and girls in Grades 7 through 12. Surrounded by the beautiful hills of Quebec's Eastern Townships and Northern Vermont, Stanstead College is an English school that embraces French in and out of the classroom. Our school is uniquely placed to open doors to top universities and colleges in the United States, Canada and around the world. The school has a population of approximately 200 students and a highly involved faculty and staff. In addition to the Quebec Diploma in Grade 11, Stanstead College offers a Grade 12 option based on Advanced Placement and pre-university programs. In this small, secure environment, students enjoy a strong sense of community as they develop into young men and women and prepare for university. In addition to the rigorous academic program and student-focused learning, Stanstead College offers top-notch athletics at all grade levels in all three terms, including the school’s elite hockey programs for boys and girls.
