Starcrop is a UK-based company dedicated to structuring and evaluating investment opportunities in agriculture and the farmland asset class in emerging markets. Our aim is to create long-term shareholder value by building sustainable businesses with outstanding growth potential, while striving to offer liquidity to investors within a shortened time-frame. We also provide a wide range of financial consulting and advisory services for the agribusiness industry and related industry sectors. Given the broad scope and bespoke nature of farmland and agribusiness-related investments, our unique industry know-how and experience enables us to assist our clients in detailed financial and economic analysis, capital raising, strategic positioning and unlocking networking opportunities. Primary focus on Latin America – Andean region in particular (mainly Colombia and Peru). Sectors of particular interest include farmland development in frontier markets, the protein value-chain, specialty crops, agri-tech / ‘big data’ / precision agriculture, and sustainability & social impact.
