Starr Psychiatric Center aims to provide high-quality mental health care by using the concept of differential therapeutics and a team approach using the medical model and various types of psychotherapy in addition to psychiatric services. Differential therapeutics is simply a concept in which a patient is first correctly diagnosed and then the correct psychiatric modality or combination of modalities is used at the appropriate time in the treatment. We treat adolescents and adults 12 years of age and older. Accepting most private insurance, we offer both telehealth and in-person visits. We do not currently accept MassHealth. Our clinic is in a beautiful building on the South Shore of Boston bordering Easton and Brockton. We are on the corner of Pearl and Torrey Street.
