Startcare

StartCare is a Black-founded, community-based healthcare organization leading the way in delivering care for New Yorkers seeking health support since 1969. We provide comprehensive, culturally responsive, compassionate care, tools, and resources for individuals, families, and communities. With a specialized focus on addiction recovery, mental health care, and biomedical research, we operate six community-based locations across New York and provide care for to participants annually. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
