Startup Leiria is the association driving the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Leiria region, Portugal. We support entrepreneurs, startups, and innovative projects at every stage — from idea to growth — through incubation and acceleration programs, mentoring, training, and access to national and international strategic networks. We foster a collaborative and people-centered environment where talent meets knowledge and opportunity. We believe the future is built locally, with global impact. Based in Leiria and with a strong regional presence, we work closely with municipalities, universities, companies, investors, and public institutions, connecting key players and promoting open, sustainable innovation. In 2024, we were recognized by the Financial Times as the 68th most promising innovation hub in Europe. We are also part of Portugal’s 3rd most innovative ecosystem, according to the StartupBlink global ranking.
