The Statenkliniek Dermatologie is an independent treatment centre (ZBC) for dermatology and offers the entire spectrum of dermatological care, since 2012. The clinic has the latest equipment and techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of various skin diseases. The Statenkliniek gives all attention to the people who visit the clinic, by listening to the patient from its expertise and explaining the diagnosis and treatment. For this we take 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for control patients, so that the treatment is personalized. The waiting list is short. Patients can see a doctor within 2-3 working days. In case of an emergency, in most cases the patient can go to the doctor the same day. The dermatologists who work here have extensive experience in general dermatology and have specialized in all kinds of skin diseases, hair problems, sexually transmitted diseases, allergies, UV treatments (light therapy) and laser therapies. The qualified skin therapists have work experience in various clinics, practices and hospitals. Skin improvement, skin rejuvenation, acne, pigmentation, besenreiser (small varicose veins) and overhair have their special interest. Because of the knowledge in these aspects the Statenkliniek sees itself as a knowledge centre in dermatological care in The Hague and surroundings. The Statenkliniek always works with the latest medical devices. Blood collection is possible on location, allergies are tested with two types of allergy tests. Vascular diseases can be diagnosed properly by an in-house ultrasound device. Moles as well as hair growth can be analysed by means of a scanning device. There are possibilities on site for extensive light therapy (PUVA, UVB, PDT) and IPL and laser therapy. In 2013, the Statenkliniek has has qualified for a national Dermatology Quality Seal Certificate and is offering professional training as recognised by the SBB (Association of Professional Education and Industry).
