STC Trade e.g. was founded in 2015 to design, manufacture and supply durable plastic filters for ships. Although most filters are made of steel, plastic is a better solution. Plastic is seawater resistant (no corrosion), much lighter and cheaper than steel. For this reason, perforated plastic sheets have been developed under the brand name Perfoplast™ the ultimate filters are made. The filters have taken flight since then. From a long experience with fiberglass reinforced plastics, the Fiberstrain™ pots are also designed and produced. These comply with L3 approval and are approved by Lloyds Register. Thanks to our product developments we can offer greatly improved, but not more expensive, solutions within your market. This way our heating mats were created and the internal and external shavers were added to the product range.
