Steel Jupiter, having been issued a device determination for its Zinnia technology-coated air filters by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), produces an air filter coated with our innovative Zinnia technology that increases the virus trapping efficiency of standard air filters (like MERV 8-13) to 99.9% without impacting airflow. This advancement offers significant potential benefits beyond 99.9% virus trapping, including reducing carbon emissions from buildings and homes, and cutting operational and maintenance expenses for air systems. Additionally, our team is working on agricultural water management solutions, aiming to reduce water usage in crop cultivation. In the Middle East, we have a project focused on growing food in desert conditions. We’re also developing technologies to replace water pretreatment methods, enhancing the efficiency of water treatment facilities and desalination processes. Note: Zinnia technology-coated filters efficacy testing performed using aerosolized bacteriophage Phi X, a surrogate for common enveloped viruses such as Sars-Cov-2, influenza (flu), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and others, demonstrated up to 99.9% removal of viruses in a top-ranking university research laboratory.
