Steel Mains has been manufacturing Steel Pipelines in Australia for over 100 years. Our product range includes Steel Pipes manufactured to AS1579. We have various jointing systems including Rubber Ring Joint (RRJ), welded joints Spherical Slip In Joint (SSJ) and Ball and Socket Joint (BSJ). We also provide the combination of a rubber ring joint with an external weld known as our Sintalock Joint. Our internal and external protection systems are world leading. Our external protection system is known as Sintakote, which is a fusion bonded polyethylene coating, capable of withstanding the harshest conditions, below ground or above ground. Our internal coating commonly used is cement lining. We are also able to apply Calcium Aluminate Cement lining for more aggressive fluids, and Sintakote lining which is known as Sintapipe.
