Stem Street

STEM Street is a project by a group of engineers who have, in recent years, increasingly started to feel that young people in Pakistan are not being exposed to STEM education in a way that encourages them to continue to develop their interest and skills in these subjects. Our vision is simple yet scalable: every child in Pakistan under the age of 18 should have a basic understanding of concepts and applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. As a first step, STEM Street aims to bring a unique Clubhouse concept, where children will get the chance to get introduced to the theory and practice behind computational thinking, and practice programming in Scratch and Python. They will also be exposed to additional applications using electronic components such as lights and sensors, and even get the chance to understand and apply Machine Learning models.
