Stemcademy

STEMcademy is a student lead organization funded by the Kids4Kids Young Entrepreneurship Program. Through cooperating with different NGOs and student organizations, STEMcademy hosts different STEM workshops and interdisciplinary learning opportunities to address the issue of scientific illiteracy within Hong Kong. Specifically, STEMcademy aims to grant underprivileged children in Hong Kong access to resources to nurture their interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ( STEM ). We have worked with 10+ NGOs and student organizations to deliver 60+ STEM workshops both online and face-to-face, with topics pertaining to Engineering, Astronomy, Health Sciences, Robotics and more! We've reached 400+ kids both locally and internationally and have signed deals with companies like The Genius Workshop to provide free robotics courses for 8 students. We've also previously worked with different corporations and NGOs to host a Lego donation drive, where we collected and redistributed pieces of Legos to the children around Hong Kong. STEMcademy won the Kids4Kids Young Entrepreneurs Competition in 2022 and has used the seed fund to offer free STEM opportunities to underprivileged children in Hong Kong.
