Step Initiative

StEP towards Development of Physiotherapy Initiative was founded by handful of Indian trained-Physiotherapists from across the globe who envisioned an initiative to work as a group of volunteers for the Development of Physiotherapy in India. Development of our profession is only possible, when our own Physiotherapy community is aware and has a strong desire to make radical shift in the vision and goal, which is directed towards development of Physiotherapy first. StEP Initiative has Volunteers as the integral part of its structure to ensure that more and more individuals related to Physiotherapy makes a revolutionary shift towards Development of Physiotherapy in India. StEP Initiative works for the development of physiotherapy in India. StEPs Taken- National physiotherapy education survey- Live Open Discussion for Physiotherapy. StEPs conceptualized- Research Mentorship Program- Nation-wide Seminar Series. MISSION : STANDARDIZE entry-level/higher-level education, continuing education and clinical physiotherapy practice (Standards) EDUCATE all health care professionals, government bodies and general public about Physiotherapy profession (Awareness) PROMOTE physiotherapy opportunities, exchange of knowledge, research & team work (Development)
