Stephanie Ross Designs

Stephanie Ross Designs is the culmination of many years of collecting. It is a long incubated outlet for my many years of creative collecting of ideas, skills, materials and passions. Stephanie Ross Designs allows me the creative freedom to make beautiful things, with no limit to my imagination or the endless possibilities that “What if…?” can lead to. Some find it difficult to understand that, like a butterfly, I flit between projects and they may think my work random and unconnected, however to me they are all linked by a love of colour and light and of course by the fact that it is me that creates every piece and every piece has been influenced by what I learned or discovered or imagined while I was creating it predecessor. Whether that be a necklace, a painting or a print of a painting or illustration, a unique piece of glasswork, or even a bag, scarf or dress using my own printed fabrics. Each discipline is, in itself, inspiration for the next. Each project leads to ideas for another project, often in a completely different medium but I think it helps to keep my work vital and interesting. Creativity is the opposite of routine, it is an ever evolving process, a journey filled with energy and light and you never quite know where it will take you. It is an adventure!
