Steps Foundation for Civil Development (SFCD) is a civil society organization, non-governmental, non-profit, youth developmental, humanitarian, independent and neutral, founded in 2014, under license No.(6) from the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor m / Shabwa. By a group of young volunteers who contribute to voluntary and community work to achieve the establishment of a civic organization aimed at promoting the role of youth in development. Since its inception, it has presented projects in the areas of human rights, peace building and conflict prevention. As the conflict escalated in 2015, the Foundation gradually redesigned its programs and activities to respond to the humanitarian needs of those affected by the conflict and to cope with the emerging needs of those affected by the conflict. Over the past four years, the Foundation has focused on providing various humanitarian projects and services in coordination with government and international partners. Those affected by conflict, especially children, displaced persons and vulnerable groups, provide protection, medical and psychosocial support and emergency cash assistance, including protection services for migrant children Migration paths. Believing in the importance of coordination and partnership building, SFCD has worked to strengthen coordination with OCHA and join a number of humanitarian groups including Protection Cluster, Child Protection Cluster, Mixed Migration Working Group, EECR, Shelter Cluster, Food Security and Agriculture Cluster. The Foundation is keen to diversify its strategic partnerships with international and international organizations, including UNICEF, IOM, UNHCR, as well as international organizations such as DRC. It is assisted by the presence of youth cadres with competencies and experience in humanitarian and voluntary work.
