The activities of Steray consist of the development and manufacturing of high quality technical products. We deliver internationally to various markets with a strong focus on security and sterile packaging. Security The technology which Steray implemented is that of High Throughput Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS). The technology finds a wide use for screening people and goods for illicit substances including explosives, drugs and chemical substances. Steray devices are more sensitive while they can analyze higher volumes of air. The equipment can be integrated into existing HVAC structures. Product range includes handheld devices and mobile kits. IMS is also deployed to screen large numbers of persons and goods (for example in airports and train stations), public events and critical building infrastructure. Food Steray has developed and verified an environmentally friendly technology for sterilization of packaging material, plastic bottles, etc. Soft X-ray sanitation and sterilization technique offered by Steray is based on proprietary methods of generation of intense pulsed X-rays with a large dose-area product.
