Stercus Incorporated

Stercus Incorporated is a young start up that is transforming the agricultural sector in Ghana by setting up a facility called Stercushouse to locally produce vermicompost from organic waste collected locally and also use the facility for crop production which leads to maximum space utilization and a circular economy. Our business model starts with organic waste collection from the main sources and then converted into vermicompost using earthworms in the Stercushouse facility of which the final product is used for organic crop production. The food waste generated by consumers is used in our facility for vermicomposting and the cycle continues. We bring together different linked systems in one main facility and with every product we produce there is a net positive impact on the environment.
