A proud Michigan-based corporation operating since 1985, Sterling works with customers in the automotive, heavy industrial, racing, aviation and related industries. Sterling exploits a niche by providing storage, toll manufacturing, transloading and transportation for companies that sell petroleum and chemical products in the Midwest. Sterling Services Ltd. is able to provide logistical cost savings to our customers by way of our strategic location: we are located on the Canadian National Railway and Interstate 75, between 696 and 94 in Hamtramck, MI. Sterling Services Ltd. warehouses petroleum products at its for-hire bulk liquid warehousing tank terminal, which occupies five acres on the near-north side of Detroit in Hamtramck. We have 55 aboveground tanks, ranging from to gallons in capacity. We are served by the Canadian National (CN) railway, and handle a significant amount of volume of rail tanker cars that are loaded, unloaded or transloaded. Our company meets all regulatory requirements for handling hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. Sterling stores, handles, blends, and throughputs various volumes of petroleum and chemical product for their clients. Sterling Services offers the ability to test, and we offer certification with an on-site ASTM certified laboratory or immediate access to a number of independent third-party testing laboratories in the area.
