Stichting Intro

Workshop and production house for contemporary music Intro in situ is a platform for new music and a workshop for the art of sound. Intro in situ programs, on a yearly basis, a theme-based series of hall music concerts for the Theater at the Vrijthof in Maastricht. In the ‘intro in situ’ workshop artists-in-residence get the opportunity to develop and execute projects in the area of sound-art. Besides that ‘in situ’ performs “certain presentations on location”. Material as well as immaterial cultural inheritances will be the starting point here. With the presentations on location sound-landscapes, performances, installations and actual music will be combined.
