Stichting Leidschrift

The Leidschrift Foundation publishes an academic journal (Leidschrift) dealing with current historical debates. Articles are not only intended for the academic community but also for the general reader with an interest in history. The editorial board consists of students and staff of the Leiden University Institute for History Among the historians who have contributed to Leidschrift are renowned scholars: for example Jan de Vries, Leonard Blussé, Wim Blockmans and Charles Tilly. Apart from professional historians Leidschrift regularly invites young researchers and talented students to present their work. Leidschrift is published three times a year and each edition deals with a specific theme. Recent editions revolve around a wide range of themes.
