StoneWood, Inc. was founded in 2003 by seasoned and well regarded California Real Estate Executive Bill Kennedy. The Company evolved from a highly respected consulting firm, Realty Management Advisors which Bill founded in 1991 to assist major lenders and investors including Bank of America, Bank of the West, BNP Paribas, Taisei Corporation, Alecta Real Estate, and others with distressed and foreclosed real estate assets throughout Southern California. • Bill Kennedy, Managing Director of StoneWood, Inc. was previously the senior real estate development executive for DAON / BCED Development in San Diego County, managing the planning, development and dispositions of 3 major mixed-use residential master plans planned for homes which also included significant retail, commercial and industrial uses. • Throughout his career Bill has led development and construction teams on 11 master plans totaling lots which resulted in over $1 Billion in negotiated and closed land sales to home builders, investors and industrial / commercial developers.
