Dhilon lost his mum at 23 years old, never having the chance to record her life story. A few dusty VHS tapes, some old pictures and his own memories are all that he has left of her. This is what led him to create Story Locker: a service that helps families capture the voices, memories and life stories of the people they love, before it’s too late. Most of the people we work with say things like: “We’ve been meaning to do this for years.” “I just want my kids to know who their grandparents really were.” “We wish we’d done this sooner.” So we’ve built a process that makes it easy, warm and unforgettable: 1. Start with a short questionnaire about your loved one’s life and milestones 2. Get matched with a professionally trained interviewer (from the BBC, Guardian, etc.) 3. Join a discovery call to explore key themes 4. Record a relaxed, half-day session (either in-studio or virtually) 5.
