Stote

Stote is a social enterprise that aims to extend the lifecycle of textile waste. Our current project, ECO STEPINN, repurposes unwanted fabric from the textile and garment industry to create eco-friendly hotel slippers. This initiative addresses high carbon emissions, water usage, and plastic waste, while providing data on guest acceptance of sustainable alternatives. ECO STEPINN helps hotels test eco-friendly products, extending the lifecycle of textile waste and reducing the overall carbon footprint. We transform unwanted denim into unique souvenirs and B2C products, giving new life to old jeans. Our workshops educate participants on upcycling clothing, aiming to inspire and empower them to change their consumption habits through creative reuse.
