Strategic Climate Risks Initiative

We produce analysis on complex risks to inform decision-making, using methods that capture non-linear climate-driven risks. We also provide training and tools to build skills for accelerating climate action through an increasingly unstable future. Our work is useful for governments, businesses, and civil society. We are responding to a widespread under-estimation of climate risk. Risk assessments inadequately consider non-linear threats and there is a scarcity of training to build skills for managing the escalating situation. SCRI is a ‘think-and-do’ tank with a dedicated staff and a network of partners across academia, policy research, and climate action. We are currently hosted by the Institute for Public Policy Research.
