SFI believes that the new economic landscape demands the creation of a new mode of thinking. SFI also believes that our successes and failures in life, and, of course, this new economic climate, can be traced directly to how we deal with the day-to-day conflicts that confront us in society. Job tells us that the life of man upon earth is a warfare, and experience suggests that the greatest battle of all is within—our emotions, our weaknesses, our lack of resolution in seeing things through to the end. We must declare unceasing war on ourselves and consequently, strategic thinking must be the new imperative. It is with a sense of great urgency that SFI sees its goal to develop, nurture and engage strategic thinkers at all levels.
