Streetdoctors

We train over young people affected by violence each year; both in the physical and psychological consequences of street violence. We put young people at the centre of emergency first-aid provision and empower them to become part of the solution to violence. Our training is delivered by our movement of young healthcare volunteers (nurses, paramedics and doctors) who work in partnership with a wide variety of services where young people may be active: criminal justice services, schools, pupil referral units, youth, sports and community groups. All our work is trauma informed, meaning we work closely with our partners to ensure young people are supported in preparation for our session, during the running of the session, and long after the session is complete: 1150925 | 046981
