Strength Support Services

STRENGTH aim to provide a support service to vulnerable young people and adults fleeing domestic violence or sexual exploitation.#STRENGTH will support and safeguard vulnerable adults by supporting them to flee an abusive situation to allow people to live a life free from harm.#STRENGTH are a service which will help the victim flee the situation, help them to live free from home working with companies to prevent homelessness, re-home, help set up this home, help move any possessions they have safely.#STRENGTH will also support victims who have been through traumatic experiences by signposting them to relevant services including housing, well-being, mental health, substance misuse and counselling.#STRENGTH's main aim is to support vulnerable members of the community live free from home and empower individuals to become involved in education and employment. STRENGTH have a goal to provide support services to vulnerable people across the North east of England. STRENGTH will empower, mentor and coach vulnerable people to identify signs of sexual abuse and exploitation and make positive life choices to prevent abuse and exploitation. STRENGTH will work in the community to support and guide people experiencing domestic violence, abuse and exploitation to live independently and safely.#STRENGTH will work with local business and charities to gain grants and specialist provisions to help vulnerable people live independent lives. STRENGTH will apply for funding and charitable donations to provide help prevent homelessness and support vulnerable people to become empowered and make positive life choices. The purpose of the charity is for public benefit as will reduce homelessness, reduce drug and alcohol addiction and support and educate people experiencing trauma from sexual abuse to receive support and help from the right services and make the right positive decisions.
