At Strengths Unleashed we energise individual leaders, their teams and organisations. We are strengths focused, data driven and designed for business, delivered by business people. The effect of constant change has meant that disruption to the workplace has been unrelenting. The impact of this on organisations is depleted energy levels in their people, leading to lower levels of performance. Organisations are great at building the ‘vehicle’ through which they operate: Strategy, People, Systems, KPIs We are less effective at creating the fuel that drives it: Organisational Energy How do you fuel an organisation? The best way to impact organisation energy is through its leadership. By energising leaders and ensuring they are able to energise others, we can create an injection of energy that will lead to greater results across the organisation. Data shows* that the ability to inspire, motivate and energise others is rated as the most important skill for a leader to have, in order to impact the organisation. However, these skills are most often ranked lowest, with leadership instead focusing on driving for results and technical and professional expertise. We are able to impact organisational energy at three levels: Personal - By understanding and unleashing the strengths of individuals, especially leaders, we can energise mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally, increasing capability and suitability. Interpersonal - By enabling leadership to utilise their personal energy through ongoing support, or by facilitating team events, we are able to unlock energy throughout a team. Systemic - Organisational energy is a culmination of the previous levels. Through large scale intervention we are able to measure energy levels and facilitate events to cause systemic shifts in energy.*Data collected by Zenger Folkman places ‘Inspires and Motivates Others to High Performance’ as the most important competency to organisations when asking leadership teams.
