Stripes is a type A social cooperative that carries out research, consultancy, training, design and management of social and educational services in the areas of: early childhood, minors, disability, immigration, training Established in 1989, Stripes has established itself over the years as a reliable interlocutor for public administrations and citizens - for the consistency of its cultural and productive identity as a social enterprise, which is attributed the role of an active player in a solidarity-based and participatory economy- for its innovative project approach and its ability to adapt management methods and tools in complex contexts- for the certified quality of its services. Today Stripes represents a strongly consolidated reality that, within a wide territory and in collaboration with a large number of local authorities, manages about 60 services employing about 650 workers for more than 2500 users. The main purpose of Stripes is to contribute to the promotion of personal well-being, the development of social quality and the innovation of social policies and service models, providing concrete answers to the needs expressed by the territory in which it operates, by means of high quality services for users and their families. Realising entrepreneurial capacity, measuring oneself against the market, its rules and dynamics, with management and production efficiency and effectiveness, is an inescapable requirement of every enterprise. Operating as a social cooperative in the context of services to the person, however, also means associating with the same entrepreneurial capacity a more articulated horizon of meaning, defined by attention to quality and social profitability.
