Student Career Network Scn

Founded in 2019 by a group of sophomores at the University of Sydney, Student Career Network (SCN) is a not-for-profit media platform seeking to break down career information barriers for international students. We achieve this initiative by providing a centralised information platform where international students can easily access professional development resources that would otherwise be scattered, and hard to find. We connect our students with outstanding alumnus by conducting 'coffee chat' interviews and holding a series of networking events. We further help international students gain commercial awareness by issuing weekly business news digest. Since inception in March 2019, we have grown to a sizeable community with 1500+ international student followers, and we have been partnering with the Career Centre of the University of Sydney, the Global Engagement Office of the University of Hong Kong, and numerous university societies. We ceased to update posts and organise events in late 2020, as a majority of our executive members graduated and commenced their own careers at leading investment banks, law firms and consultancies.
