The Student Council of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal, is a dynamic governance body dedicated to enriching student life and fostering collaboration between the student community and institutional leadership. Focused on academic, cultural, social, and career-related needs, the Council ensures a holistic and inclusive campus experience while advocating for student welfare. Through Office Bearers and Class Representatives (CRs), the Council represents students across disciplines, relaying their concerns and feedback to higher authorities. Whether addressing academic policies, campus infrastructure, or student well-being, the Council actively empowers students to shape their MIT journey. The Council plays a pivotal role in organizing the institute’s flagship events. Revels, the national-level annual sports and cultural fest, celebrates talent in art, music, drama, and athletics, drawing participation from across the country. TechTatva, the technical fest, fosters innovation and problem-solving through exciting competitions and workshops. These events promote creativity, teamwork, and a vibrant campus life. Career readiness is another focus, with the Council collaborating with the Placement Team to streamline recruitment and host workshops, mock interviews, and industry-led seminars. Partnerships with alumni and industry leaders offer students access to internships, mentorship, and professional networks, helping them excel in their career journeys.
