Students For Nonviolent Resistance

The means we use to resist the current paradigms will ultimately lay the foundation for the new ones, which means we cannot resist hatred and violence with more of the same if we ever hope to create a just society. This is why our mission is to promote nonviolence and mindfulness in our resistance, so we can be even more impactful in our resistance of divisive agendas, and build a better world together! We cannot hold on to hatred and vengeance, for the problems of the world are too enormous, and violence, no matter how justified, simply creates more violence. We must become more mindful, understanding, and conscious in our behavior if we ever hope others to do the same. We cannot stand against the hatred of the far-right extremists if we embody it ourselves; we MUST embody nonviolence and the values of human dignity and respect for all.
