Studio Bert Forma, Inc. was founded by Bertrand Forma in 1965 as a national Manufacturer’s Representative textile agency. Originally operating from New York City, Mr. Forma identified a need in Los Angeles for an internationally flavored textile agency. In 1969, he relocated to Los Angeles and introduced a wide selection of European fabrics to local designers and manufacturers. The agency was acquired in March of 2004 by Kevin and Heather Maldonado. Studio Bert Forma, Inc. returned to New York City in May of 2006 and opened a satellite office in the Garment District of Manhattan. The most recent expansion in January of 2014 added a stock service warehouse in Los Angeles to better serve the local garment manufacturers. Our offices in Los Angeles and Manhattan showcase classic and trendy fabrics, garments and accessories by appointment only with respect to your privacy and confidentiality.
