Studio Doherty (formerly Doherty Design Studio) is a multi-disciplinary, award-winning Interior Design studio based in Melbourne. The studio creates tailored interiors for residential (new builds and renovations), commercial, retail, workplace and hospitality projects, transforming existing buildings and spaces as well as collaborating with leading architects and builders. What we do; • Provide tailored Interior design services • Spatial planning • Interior design for new builds, developments and renovations- including but not limited to, the design of bespoke joinery • Interior documentation • Curation of fine art, furniture and objects Studio Doherty is immersed in every stage of the design process – from concept to completion. We collaborate closely with clients, architects, builders, engineers, landscape designers, graphic designers, cabinet makers, creatives and craftspeople to ensure the spaces we create are truly exceptional. Collaborators include B.E Architecture, Inarc Architects, Jackson Clements Burrows, Fowler & Ward, Longevity Group Australia, Techne, Ortolan, Dome Building Projects, Omnicon Constructions, North Building Group. Each project is approached in a holistic and all-encompassing manner. Studio Doherty does not adhere to one colour palette, design era or sensibility. Design solutions emerge from close client collaborations, project ‘discovery’, deep research, instinct, ongoing conversations and sharing of ideas. 2022 Awards: Finalist Australian Interior Design Awards, Finalist Dulux Colour Awards.
