Studio Haya Arafa

Human Centered Design Studio that focuses on research, interior architecture, product and spatial design. The studio masters the application of prevailing as well as novel research methodologies and techniques related to Human Behavior & Design; thus, merging Social Sciences, Environmental Psychology and Social Psychology with Spatial Design to enhance people’s physical activity, psychological health and social interaction through spaces. Our vision is to enhance our daily life experiences through designed objects and spatial experiences to bring about a positive design change in spaces we live, work, dine, learn and medicament in. We strongly believe in research as a design tool and building a studio that gives value to people even if it’s a minor change. We respect history, traditions, natural materials and are strongly influenced by the values of modernism. Our projects strip spaces and ideas back to their simplest forms yet unpretentious value. We have an ethical approach to any space we design, creating meaningful and functional spaces rather than complying to an epigonous style.
