Studio Mpra

studio MPRA is a Helsinki based architectural practice exploring the relationship between the tangible practice of creating beautiful spaces that sustain life for future generations and digital ai-powered design tools. We work in building design and urban planning. To solve design tasks with often complex demands, we believe in bridging the gap between the conventional and the future - quality is programmed in. MPRA stands for the founders of the studio, Maija Parviainen and Ron Aasholm, who have versatile experience in various planning tasks ranging from extensive strategic master plans and visions to detailed construction design. In our design and planning work we always strive to pay attention to the various scales of urban environments to create places that are truly tailored to human scale. Ecological, social and economic sustainability as well as respect towards the context of each site are key motivations for our projects.
