We offer photographic services and education of an industry-leading standard. Our community places importance on fostering positive energy and unites like-minded individuals who believe in living life to the fullest. We promote inclusivity and diversity. We welcome individuals from all walks of life, no matter gender, shape, colour, country or creed - we are all equal. The community defines us as more than just a photographic studio space; it has a strong sense of unity and purpose. We do not compare or contrast to others, it is about one’s own personal journey. A safe space where everyone can develop and grow. Classes follow a curriculum optimised for progression and development. Our teachers are qualified teachers with years of experience, foremost they are passionate about what they teach. For them it is not just a job, but a way of life. Our goal is to collaborate more with organisations that are supporting underrepresented and/or vulnerable individuals. Give opportunities to learn new meaningful skills and gain confidence. In an authentic darkroom setting, we share lifelong craft skills meanwhile underlining the value of creating something tactile and beautiful. Behind the name: Nihility (noun)= Nothing Nihitilities (plural)= Nothingness Etymology: The Renaissance Latin nihilitās, from Latin nihil (“nothing”) nihility (countable and uncountable, plural nihilities, nothingness) Studio Nihilities have no attachment to Nihilism. By definition, we are nothing and everything, something rooted in humanistic values and cultivating one’s real values regardless of social and economic status.
