Studio Roslyn specializes in built environments that are integral to the success of our client’s business. We are proficient with retail and hospitality, and offer valuable insight into the operations and functions of a commercial project. Our design process stems in part from many creative ends - such as fashion, art, and film - yet works towards our client’s business metrics, thus integrating them into the complete project. Put simply, creativity is not in conflict with commerce. We research relevant business analogues, precedents, and trend forecasts. The design is also generated through an in-depth understanding of the customer’s needs and experience of our client’s business, as well as the ergonomics of the space. Needs entail usability, functionality, and familiarity. We are careful to consider what disadvantages come with a concept, business plan, or space. Taken together, this process gives us the opportunity to capitalize on many ideas through a design - the end result being a well designed and built environment; a business that can thrive.
