Studio Sanne Visser

Studio Sanne Visser is a material design research studio undertaking creative design research projects in material innovation, regenerative design and future thinking. Director and founder, Sanne Visser ¬– a designer and researcher who has worked with hair for over eight years – has exhibited and delivered workshops/talks at major institutions worldwide (UAL, Wereldmuseum, Design Museum, Textielmuseum, Tate Modern). Over the years she build up a diverse network of collaborators/clients, including Nike, STORE, Little Princes Trust, Franklin Till, Horniman Museum, whilst recognised by international media (her latest project ‘Locally Grown’ was recently published on BBC, CNN and Evening Standard). Sanne’s interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches led to working across the sectors of social and material sciences, working with anthropologists, scientists, curators, hairdressers, designers, young people and more, whilst being an educator and PhD researcher.
