Studio Six Art Conservation is an independently owned and operated art conservation studio located in Dallas Texas. We provide professional, personalized and ethical art conservation services to private collectors, small museums, historical societies and corporate collections throughout Texas. The primary focus of Studio Six Art Conservation is on the conservation of historic objects that are composed of wood or other organic materials such as clay, ivory, jade, lacquer, boulle, tortoise and mother of pearl. Objects include items such as small sculptures, furniture, frames, caddies, and items of a pre-Columbian or ethnographic nature. Studio Six adheres to the American Institute of Conservation’s (AIC) strict code of ethics and standards of practice. Brad Ford Smith has been a Professional Associate of American Institute of Conservation since 1998.
