Studio SJM was founded by Sarah Jane Storrie and Marianne Partyka to elevate people’s experience of space. Working closely with local communities, specialist education institutions, multifaceted organisations or individuals - our goal is to create buildings and reimagine spaces to be beneficial, purposeful and a joy to use. Supporting clients to create coherent ideas from multiple voices, we give life to demanding briefs. Our design and technical experience ensures that a solution will always be balanced with an achievable end goal. We take great care to fully understand local issues, respect heritage, respond to context and tread lightly to ensure our work leaves a positive legacy.
