We all have roles we play in our daily life. The Performing Arts gives us the chance to rehearse and explore these roles in a safe and fun space. At Studio Space, we use the skills we learn in the performing arts to build confidence for our real-life’s performance! WHAT IS STUDIO SPACE? Studio Space is an inclusive arts company that is committed to providing best practices and professional performing arts training and dramatherapy services for people of all ages and abilities in northern Tasmania. Studio Space programs are designed to build confidence and skills and are tailored to the individual to work in partnership in achieving their goals. Our work is about encouraging ambition and sparking passion in the arts to improve your quality and enjoyment of life. We run classes in drama and performance-making and facilitate several performance opportunities throughout the year with some of Tasmania’s biggest festivals and events. Our artists have performed at festivals such as the Junction Arts Festival, Mona Foma, Australian Musical Theatre Festival, Tamar Peace Festival, Launceston Carols by Candlelight, The Special Olympics Ceremony, ReMade, Launceston Competitions, Launceston International, The Balfour Burn, The Harvest Market. Our Showcases have been held at Launceston College, The Princess Theatre, Scotch Oakburn College and the University of Tasmania.
