Studio Yami Creative

YAMI Creative is an award-winning multifaceted design studio exploring three distinct projects: Yamido, Type One, and Symbiosis Lab. The studio is an expression of my experience as a conceptual product designer and my research on innovation at the intersection of design, technology and biology. YAMIDO, the studio's primary project, designs outdoor furniture from concrete, steel and bamboo. Our first model, PEKO is an outdoor ping pong table made of ultra-high performance concrete and galvanized steel. PEKO is a gold winner in the Grands Prix du design 2021. Yamido's long term goal is to eventually offer outdoor and indoor furniture. TYPE ONE, the concept art branch of the studio, applies my experience as a conceptual designer to the field of industrial design and other creative fields. Clients include DAY Agency, Cirque du Soleil, JED Productions and TV5. SYMBIOSIS LAB, the speculative design branch of the studio, aims to explore blue sky design to propose innovative design solutions at the intersection of design, biology and technology.
