We believe in innovation, thinking differently and the power of design to empower people and the communities they live in. This has led us to one simple belief: Design is for everyone. We support this belief by: Creating learning tools that promote the philosophy design is for everyone. Organizing events, workshops & innovative classroom environments that make design education available to the public. Sharing information about design education. Collaborating and creating with other design educators. Inspiring and sharing our design knowledge, experience and resources through teaching. We have an Idea Lab Our idea lab is the place where we imagine and work on projects to facilitate design education. We are interested in investigating the ways people learn about design and developing tools that rethink traditional models of design education. Our ideas may end up as tools we use in the classroom or products, publications and mobile teaching experiences that reach a broader audience.
