Sub-Woofah have been hosting Drum and Bass and Jungle line ups at a number of clubs throughout Manchester and the UK since 2009 - known for uniting old school Jungle with modern day Drum & Bass, their events attract jungle fanatics from all walks - from the long standing troops to newly-turned student junglists. To mark the 4th anniversary of Sub-Woofah events on 15th June 2013, the first EP from the mighty Epicentre - “One Way/Champion Sound" was released and Sub-Woofah Records was born. The release received a wicked response from junglists worldwide, reaching the Top 10 in JunoDownload's Drum and Bass charts in the first week. 2013/14 saw releases from K Jah, Jinx, Vytol, Euphonique, S Man, Erbman Hustlin', Jamz and Verdikt - every release reaching the top 20, with the majority in the top 5-10. and in July 2014. K Jah's 'Fix Dem' from the Bad Vibrations EP reached Number 1 in TrackItDown's Drum and Bass charts! This year has seen more effort go into growing the label with less focus on monthly events and instead big one off line ups throughout Manchester. The team have been working hard to bring you releases from Altered States, Subtifuge, Junglord, S Man and Motiv - with tracks from more names including Aries, Gold, Hybrid and Kenny Ken yet to come.
