Our mission is to capture life's noteworthy moments, so they can be tucked away and saved forever. Connoisseurs of correspondence and self-proclaimed traditionalists, founders Chelsea Shukov and Jamie Grobecker believe that personal stationery makes a deep, lasting impression. These close friends and graphic designers founded Sugar Paper in 2003 after falling in love with the simplicity and nostalgia of letterpress printing. At a time when the world was steadfastly headed online, they took a risk and stayed focused on building their business offline - making beautiful, tangible things by hand that would far outweigh anything in the digital space. Twenty years later, that quality, love and dedication is still seen in every Sugar Paper product they design and make in their Los Angeles studio. Sugar Paper has grown into an omni-channel lifestyle brand with a handful of retail stores, a DTC site, thousands of wholesale accounts, and partnerships with companies like Target and Paperless Post.
