Sukhavati

Sukhavati is a non-profit organization and Buddhist-inspired donation-based project for the realization of a place for modern, holistic and meaningful living and compassionate and dignified care in illness, dying and death for all people - regardless of worldview and faith. We offer a wide range of medical, nursing, spiritual and psychosocial care. We combine conventional treatment methods with the approaches of complementary medicine to support the well-being of our guests, patients and employees and follow current evidence-based guidelines and recommendations. As an important cooperation partner in the health region, close collaboration is particularly important to us. Sukhavati integrates various pillars of activity that complement and enrich each other: In addition to the hospice with 8 places, our hospice service accompanies people in their home environment. The nursing service provides competent and loving care for our residents and, as a cooperation partner of Krebsberatung Berlin-Brandenburg e.V, we have also been offering psycho-oncological counseling on our premises since 2024. Three meditation rooms are available for meditation, yoga and contemplation. There are also regular lectures and seminars on medical, nursing, spiritual and other meaningful topics. The spacious seminar rooms can be rented for events and offer all the advantages of excellent technical equipment in a special atmosphere. Our in-house bistro treats residents and external guests to varied regional cuisine with a view of the harmoniously designed Zen-style garden. With direct access to the lake, it offers peace and regeneration and invites you to linger and relax.
