Sumagrow

SumaGrow was developed to support the agricultural sector using technologies and techniques that work alongside conventional farming practices to create a more balanced farming system that increases crop productivity while utilizing fewer resources. Salts and heavy metals deposited from the overuse of synthetic fertilizers have disrupted the integrity of the soil, damaging and destroying rich microbial habitats. This disruption decreases soil nutrient and water retention which leads to reduced crop performance. Reduced crop productivity then causes a reactive response to increase applied nutrients. This perpetuating cycle has accelerated the decline in arable farm land and increased contamination of surface and groundwater from agricultural pollutants. In response, Bio Soil Enhancers, Inc.(BSEI) pioneered the exploration of harnessing the intrinsic functionality of microorganisms to increase crop quality and yields, reduce applied fertilizers, and increase soil water efficiency. While results differ based on the crop type, cultivation practices, and environmental conditions, SumaGrow products have demonstrated the ability to increase crop production by up to 20 percent while reducing agricultural inputs by up to 50 percent.
