About Summit Attachments Founded in 2004 by Eric Krume — a seasoned forestry professional who set out to build the solutions the market was missing — Summit Attachments was born from the field, for the field. What began as a handcrafted “tong tosser” has grown into a full-scale operation headquartered in Kelso, WA, with a team of over 40 specialists, including engineers, welders, CNC machinists, industrial painters, assemblers, and mechanics. What We Do We design and manufacture U.S-built cable systems and heavy-duty forestry attachments — including SY50, SY40, SY40 Super, STY-75, 255H, and the Winch Assist WA-861 HS — along with custom accessories such as tong throwers, smart yoders, and specialty carriages.
